Cloud: VAF configuration

New Cloud vs Classic Cloud

• New Cloud: most steps can be performed by the administrator

• Classic Cloud: engage M‑Files Support to install the signed VAF package and set API URL

Steps

1. Install the signed VAF package for cloud (found under installer folder “60-Addons”)

2. Add API URL, username, and password to the configuration

3. Refresh Configurations in M‑Files Admin and check the dashboard

4. Add the license file

Note

For Classic Cloud, open a support ticket with M‑Files and supply the signed VAF package and the API base URL. Support will install the VAF, set the API URL, and import the content package.
